THE TWIG TRILOGY, Book I

When thirteen-year-old Twig discovers that he was abandoned at birth by an unknown outsider, he leaves his woodtroll family behind and sets off on a journey through and beyond the dangerous Deepwoods. While good it seemed to have problems telling how much time had passed and how quickly (or slowly) things were happening, this led to confusion and lack of intensity in some of the important parts. the whole thing felt rushed like he was trying to avoid any slow parts. Dont get me wrong no one really likes slow parts but they're important because they make the action all the more exciting and build characters and plot. Overall id say it was good though, and great for someone newer to reading.
