About the author

Dr. Kalpesh Onkar Patil is a consultant paediatric and a neonatal laparoscopic surgeon. He has completed his M.Ch (Pediatric & Neonatal Surgery), M.N.A.M.S, D.N.B (General surgery) and MBBS. He is the owner of DR. KP’S Cherubs Child Clinic, an advanced paediatric and neonatal laparoscopy surgery unit.
He is a super specialist consultant working as Neonatal and Pediatric Laparoscopic Surgeon at Pune. His publications include many research papers and international medical articles focusing on rare congenital deformities. He also has a YouTube channel demonstrating rare complicated paediatric surgeries for upcoming surgeons. He has a very well-focused approach on the most neglected topic, Paediatric Constipation, thus helping parents to understand the basics of feeding and having online consultations for the same. With his vast experience is paediatrics, he found that if basic steps are taught properly to new parents, then many of the paediatric problems can be prevented. In this first volume of the series, he has demonstrated basic new-born care practices elaborately in pictorial forms for easy understanding.
