Nel volume vengono presentate le relazioni esposte nella Giornata di studi che si è svolta a Parma nel giugno del 2003 per rendere noti i primi risultati delle indagini archeologiche e geologiche condotte per la realizzazione della ferrovia ad Alta Velocità nel tratto emiliano della linea Bologna-Milano, unitamente ad un aggiornamento relativo al sito neolitico di Razza di Campegine, per il quale è stato possibile approfondire gli studi in collaborazione con l’Università di Milano.
