About this ebook

Forged by fire. Bound by blood. Tortured by fate.

Lightning decimates the land, but the people of Ebonpeak know there are greater threats than tempests and firestorms. Raiders pillage the coastline, destroying everything and leaving none unscathed.

Six years ago, Desolation Day stole everything from Samara—except the drive to be stronger, fight harder, and never look back. But her greatest test is yet to come. When the enemy washes ashore with the rising tides, upturning Samara’s world once again, can she shed the scars of her past to save her people, or will her hatred destroy her completely?

Venture beyond the desert lands of Sagebrush and through the scorched forest in Tide and Tempest, the next standalone installment in the Forgotten Lands historical fantasy adventures. The perfect read for Amy Harmon (The First Girl Child) and Adrienne Young (Sky in the Deep) fans.

More than a love story. It is about survival and the overwhelming feelings that beset us all in troubled times. Ending with hope for a better future. Thank you, I enjoyed this book.

What. A. Ride! If you like twists and turns this is the book for you! Although this book forms part of a series, it can likely be read separately from the other books, as it does not refer strongly to the other stories in this world. But oh what a world it is! We meet Samara in a small fishing village, and not only do those that live in this wet and dreary place have to deal with electrical storms zapping people off the face of the earth, but pirates and raiders lurk everywhere. This book was rife with twists and turns and I was left with my jaw dropped open in a few occasions, second guessing all my theories about where the characters or the story was leading - just the way I like it! Samara will imprint on your mind and you won't ever forget her!

Lindsey Pogue is an adventure and romance author, whose post-apocalyptic series include the superhuman survival saga, Savage North Chronicles, the dystopian, weather-ravaged Forgotten Lands, and the virus-riddled world of The Ending. Her romances include the small town, blue-collar, new adult trilogy, Saratoga Falls Love Stories.

Lindsey is a dyslexic, taco loving nature girl who enjoys sunsets, bonfires, and a nice cold gin lemonade on a warm summer night. She wrote her first story about birds in 3rd grade, completed her first new adult manuscript in high school, and has been writing tales of love and friendship, history and adventure ever since. When she's not plotting her next epic storyline, or dreaming up new, brooding characters, she's wrapped in blankets watching monster flicks with her own leading man. Lindsey and her husband live in Northern California with their rescue cat, Beast.
