About the author
Scott Alan Lucas is an award-winning journalist and author who recently moved from his hometown of San Francisco to Chicago. He was previously an editor at BuzzFeed News and San Francisco magazine. Among other places, his work has appeared in Politico, The Economist, and The Information, for which he has been covering the Bob Lee killing He writes about technology, politics, and the Bay Area.
