About this ebook

His Princely Devotion is a sensual queer fantasy romance novella in which a prince preparing for an arranged marriage tempts the stoic bodyguard who watches over him. Includes unique anatomy, exhibitionism, bathing/aftercare, and a chaste soldier who will sacrifice anything for the prince he believes he cannot have.

The handsome Champion of Flowers guards the Prince of Flowers day and night, safeguarding his purity and his martial prospects. He is utterly committed to his sacred duty, steadfastly loyal, and above reproach...

And the Prince of Flowers is losing his mind over it.

Tradition dictates Prince Eden can only be touched by his future consort, but Eden wants to be touched by another. Aches for it. And when his body unexpectedly responds to the man tasked with keeping him pure, he’s determined to embrace the forbidden.

I wasn't sure I would like this. Eden does not come across as a nice person, only it turns out he's living in a world that is very much not nice. I won't say more as that would be a spoiler, but I will say Eden makes the best of his situation which results in a satisfying ending. This is a short novella (only 6 chapters) so I was impressed with the world building and character development the author managed to work in. *I received an advance review copy for free. I am reviewing voluntarily.*

Eden was not what I was expecting. but in the best way possible! I loved Gale and really felt his struggles. This was a fast read, but had a very interesting setting that was well described! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Eden is a spoiled Flower/prince who delights in tormenting his guard Gale. What starts antagonistically shifts into something forbidden. For a short story, this one still really grabbed me and I was truly engaged with the characters. The ending is bittersweet but still sweet and exactly how it needed to be. An emotional read.
