About this ebook

A modern woman.

A Highland warrior.

A love written across centuries.

Kara Malone thought her grandmother’s stories about Highland magic were fairytales. After her grandmother's death, Kara discovers a letter and an ancient talisman hidden inside a small wooden box.

One touch of the beautiful talisman changes everything. Instead of starting her new life in Hawaii, Kara finds herself stranded centuries in the past, alone in the Scottish Highlands. A sprained ankle sends her tumbling directly into the path of a powerful Highland warrior who she’s seen in her dreams for years.

Alaxandar MacLeod has dreamed of Kara since childhood. When the mysterious woman suddenly appears on clan lands, he should question her motives. Instead, he is drawn to her in ways he doesn’t understand. Independent, outspoken, and unlike any woman he’s ever known, Kara challenges him at every turn… and captures his heart in the process.

But danger stalks the Highlands. Enemies are closing in, and clan tensions are rising. The longer Kara stays, the harder her decision becomes.

Because loving Alaxandar MacLeod may be the easiest choice she ever makes.

Leaving him could prove impossible.

Step into the Talisman Trilogy, where destiny transcends time, Highland warriors steal hearts, and love is powerful enough to change history.

Time travel stories are always eye-cathing and on the top of TBR list of everyone which is why I have chosen it. I wasn'the disappointed. On the contrary. I loved the witty dialogue and the banter. The plot is good and the characters are interesting and believable. The historical background is very life-alike. But for the rather too slow paced main events, it would have been a five stars reading. There is potential though, and all in all, the book worth reading and I recommend it.

I love historical novels especially Scotland. If time travel is part of it I'm hooked. This was a fun fast read. So short it couldn't develop characters as Diana Gabaldon does but it was fun and worth my time.

Absolutely loved this one! Couldn't put it down! The ending was bittersweet, not expected. Have to confess, i shed a tear or two and it's been a long time since a book moved me to tears.
