4.5 stars. I just loved the connection, chemistry and banter between Isla and Levi, I believed in them as a couple and enjoyed seeing them support each other and fall in love. I also enjoyed the support and acceptance they received from their friends, old and new. I am really enjoying this series and look forward to reading more. enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading No Bed of Roses, I didn't want to put it down. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information. I recommend reading this book. I really enjoyed it and I hope you do too. Isla and Levi might just be my favorite of this series. The story moves easily and logically. The smooth way they move from neighbors and the new people in town to more just feels right. Their connection is quick and strong and they have so much fun together even with the tension of the unknown danger. I love the characters in town of course and the new old geezer squad. I love the suspense. Finding their dog Hopper is heartwarming and sweet. Her dad is an unknown element that adds a lot to the story.
