at the heart of extreme murders sometimes lies insanity, sometimes greed, sometimes ignorance, and sometimes evil, or a sad blend of those elements. when a detective finds herself entangled in the sort of battle with extremely high stakes, and a hodgepodge team if damaged and dented warriors of mostly a very different sort than the police teams she is used to, mych more than a case could be at stake. world and realm changing drama, suspense and action.

This uses the occult element perfectly and enjoyed from the writers of these books. The characters had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed in the genre. I thought the apocalyptic element worked overall and was glad I got to read this. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
