wow.never thought i would come across this as s book... but-disgusting enough!-its more like a baby's bedtime story. there, done in five minuts! no star at all, if possible. deleting book imeddiatly. make another book-long, mind you- and maybe ill give THAT book a fivestar. but not this one. i might send in a complaint. people are not in a public library for baby books. And baby books are not in a private library to be read by adults.

A classic little book I finally got around to reading. Took me five minutes. No real character development which I found to be strange since I had heard of Peter Rabbit all my life and figured there would be depth to his character in this story. I'm sure there is a lesson to learn in here somewhere, (mind your mother?), but I missed it. Five minutes to read a free book is a small investment but I thought there was more to this classic.

This story covers a day in the life of a young rabbit who refuses to listen or obey his mother's admonitions that he stay away from a human owned property. When Peter does as he wants instead of what he should do, he comes very near to begin captured and made into a rabbit stew by the humans. His escape and return home is a gently exciting story which is appropriate for children from ages 0 to 5. Nicely illustrated with bright colours.
