About this ebook

Discover this paranormal adventure romance based on Egyptian mythology following goddess Abaset as she finds herself in an enemies to lovers situation with a fellow oasis god.

A prickly hedgehog goddess finds herself toe-to-toe with an oasis god.

Abaset would rather keep to herself and not have anything to do with most of the other gods, but while helping two of her friends, she finds her oasis unable to move the way it should.

When she uncovers the reason for the problem, she finds herself more involved in the plight of another god than she'd like, but there's something about Ash that makes her want to do just that.

Will Abaset find someone to share her oasis with?

Guardian Of The Oasis is part of the Forgotten Gods series and is based on Egyptian mythology. It includes a dash of adventure, a m/f romance, and can be read as a standalone.

Abaset finds solitude on her moving oasis with only hedgehogs for company. That’s how she likes it. She’s used to ferrying Haurun and Anat on missions for Ma’at but refuses to suffer through Karnak’s social scene. This mission starts out fine but if she can’t convince the cranky god blocking her power they are in for a long stay. I enjoyed the interactions between Ash and Abaset. The hedgehogs add a humorous aspect to the plot. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

Our heroine tends to keep to herself, but when our hero draws her out of her solitude, she finds it might not be so bad after all. This is book ten in the series. It works just fine as a standalone. This is a fantasy romance story set in the time of Egyptian gods. The story is well written and easy to read, with a straightforward plot that still manages to have some unexpected twists to it. The characters are well developed and I always like meeting the new characters. I really enjoyed the Egy

Why can't I move? Abaset accepted a two fold request to visit Ma'at and transport her friends on their errand. Even though "... Abaset would rather keep to herself..." she was kind in turning down the invitation to stay at Karnak. After transporting her friends when they were ready to return home she had a surprise, "... her oasis [was] unable to move..."!. Why was her Oasis unable to move? This sweet novella will introduce you to more of the Forgotten Gods. Once again Laura Greenwood has brought these gods to life through her fabulous novels!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
