I have read this book before, it made and it is still making a great impact in my Christian life. The book explains and expounds on the true and right purpose God has for all His children. I would recommend this book to anyone seeking to find purpose in his/her life

The author explains his use of multiple translations and paraphrasing but it still put me off. I felt like he was making the verses fit his purpose rather than presenting them in context and according to their original meaning. It would have been nice to have in text citation for the verses instead of end notes, especially where he used heavy paraphrasing. My biggest problem with the book though is that he seemed to forget who his audience is: unbeliever or believer. Either way, the book is mental fluff.

This book does not mention God's name at all and Jesus did make God's name known to all. Read John 17:26 I have made your name known to them and will make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them.” God's name is Jehovah and he is not part of a Trinity. Jesus's father in heaven is Jehovah God and the Holy Spirit is not a person but God's life giving energy that anything he touches with it transforms to life. The book has good intentions but can confuse those who do not know the accurate truth in the Bible.
