About this ebook

So You Want to Be a Hero?

I’ve had a long haul to get where I am–started from less than nothing, a tortured past, really. But now, I’m in control of my life and I’m at the height of my success, CEO of my own gaming empire. Every piece is falling into place–especially now that I’ve found the woman of my dreams, the woman I love, Mia Strong.

I’m at the top of my game.

…Until we hit a rough patch and Mia starts acting differently, strangely. She’s hiding something and I can sense she needs my help but the more I try to get close, the harder she pulls away. I’m a problem-solver by nature and I want to take control, protect her, but she won’t let me. This is one problem I can’t solve by writing a check or a few clever lines of code.

I’ll have to dig deep and put myself at risk–or risk losing her forever.

Not having read the prequels to this book, it started off kind of slow. Their, Mia & Adam's, relationship problems seemed insurmountable at times. But after some big secret reveals this story is hard to put down. I read it in one sitting because I just had to know how this story will resolve itself. It ends on a cliffhanger, so that always puts a strike against any story in my mind.

it's a nice story with an emotional storyline. But.. it's very wordy and repetitive in area and the ending just stops - it doesn't end in a particular nice way unlike the previous book. the previous book allowed the reader to make a decision about whether to read the next book or not. with the ending on this book you are almost forced into having to purchase the next book just so you can have some sort of closure. that is why I have marked the book lower.

I dont get these books First you have a girl who says she is in control of the situation then you have a rich jerk who uses her as an escort Instead of her saying NO she does what he wants because she is " falling in love with him". She finds out he is massive control freak and finds out he is SELFISH and is determined to have all his way. She tells him to stay away but every time she turns around she is having sex with him and then he decides " she is mine" . He becomes obsessed with her and wants to know where she is and what she is doing every second of the day. This is a series about a girl who in reality would get a restraining order against him. Why do these authors make the women in these books so cheap and easy and weak and the guys dominating control freak jerks??????
