It doesn’t help that gang members show up to threaten Delaney, making her question whether the roadside shooting is drug related. No one wants to believe drugs have invaded the small town of Spruce Ridge. But after she loses the city contract, Delaney must have closure for the crime or else she may be forced to close up shop.

Enjoyed the book. Well balanced characters without resorting to stereotypes and cliches. Decent plot flow.

Karen C. Whalen is the author of two cozy mystery series, the Dinner Club Murder Mysteries and the Tow Truck Murder Mysteries. The first in the dinner club series, Everything Bundt the Truth, tied for First Place in the Suspense Novel category of the 2017 IDA Contest. Whalen loves to host dinner parties, camp, hike, and read.
