Holly Scott helps a woman who becomes ill in the restaurant where she works in Missouri. She continues to help the woman and her husband while they are visiting. They live in Australia and ask her to house sit and care for their cat while they travel. It's a dream come true for Holly who didn't have an easy life growing up in foster homes. When she gets to Australia she can't believe the huge, beautiful house. And it's on a cliff overlooking the ocean! When Holly finds a box of puppies on the doorstep she takes them to the vet. Turns out that the vet is not only gorgeous but the neighbour of the people she is house sitting for. I really enjoyed this wonderful Christmas romance. Ms. Hanna is a very illustrative writer making it easy to picture the events taking place. Christmas in Australia is so different from Christmas in North America. I didn't have any trouble envisioning this story even though I thought I would since it's summer in Australia in December. If you are looking for a sweet Christmas romance that's a bit different (it was for me because of the different seasons) this is a good one to try.

Nice, clean romance that you just don't want to end. Haven't read all her books but if her character Kylie is the main star, our author will have her hands full with the wonderful slang.
