This is the third book in the Thalia series, and they must be read in order. If you haven’t read the first two books, there are possible spoilers ahead. This book starts right where Striking a Balance left on, on a cliffhanger. Thalia and James reach Decision Day, and I adored the scary sweetness between them. Their relationship goes from strength-to-strength, Thalia blossoms, and we see her as never before. She finds balance, and acceptance in who she is. The plot-even though you are aware there is a threat out there, you can’t prepare for what happens, and what is revealed. I am so glad the author revealed Thalia to us so completely-I was utterly invested in her, and Thalia and James as a couple. I loved this book, the characters, the plot-it is dark perfection. I received a copy of this book. My honest review is voluntarily provided.

James and Thalia's story continued in this 3rd book and it was a roller coaster ride of love and hate, calm and chaos, with lots of pleasure in between. The finale was perfect, both finding the HEA that they deserve. Jennifer Bene you are an extraordinary author. The way you use words and description to capture the reader and keep them wanting to read this story to the end is second to none.

Wow, parts of this one was intense. I loved how the author is descriptive but doesn't over do the details. I was on the edge of my seat when Marcus came back into the picture. OMG. Craziness! Thalia is such an amazing woman. James is such am amazing man. Read part 1 and 2 first - you will see how everything progresses from beginning to end. This author is truly gifted.
