Loved it as a teenager in high school cause it reflects on our world today. Why are we where we are at. There's no excuse. Our country's dying because of poor leadership. Now look at who's running for president. Everyone forgot where we came from. Only competition and hate no LOVE, consideration and respect for the next person beside you or me. Only conditioned !!! Looks pretty sad for all mankind everywheres in the world. Sorry for letting you down God

Animal Farm, Orson Wells This is one of my favorite classics. Not only is it before its time, it is thought provoking. Although, the characters are disguised as animals who think and feel they are much more dignified than humans, they unknowingly follow the same eerie steps of mankind. It is simply a wonderful story with excellent political/racial insight.

About the author

George Orwell (1903–1950), the pen name of Eric Arthur Blair, was an English novelist, essayist, and critic. He was born in India and educated at Eton. After service with the Indian Imperial Police in Burma, he returned to Europe to earn his living by writing. An author and journalist, Orwell was one of the most prominent and influential figures in twentieth-century literature. His unique political allegory Animal Farm was published in 1945, and it was this novel, together with the dystopia of 1984 (1949), which brought him worldwide fame.
