About this ebook

An innocent woman kidnapped by a desperate man clash in a battle of wills that just might turn these enemies into lovers in this first full-length novel in Harper St. George’s The Gilded West series.

Emmaline Drake has always known that her stepfather ran with a gang of outlaws, so she spends her nights as a barmaid trying to save up enough money to escape with her younger sisters and never look back. Until the night a dangerous, well-dressed stranger walks into her saloon and she knows her life will never be the same.

Mining heir, Hunter Jameson has never had to want for anything. A son of the wealthiest man in Montana, he’s had the whole world at his fingertips. When her stepfather’s gang kidnaps someone he loves, he has no choice but to take Emmaline in return. He’s only taking her to arrange a simple exchange…until love complicates everything.

Across the wilds of Montana Territory to the opulence of a country estate, the line between captor and captive blurs as Emmaline and Hunter are thrown together in a storm of passion that threatens to consume them both.
