About this ebook

From a Therapist Who’s Lived This Too

Not every difficult relationship is toxic. Some are simply stressful—leaving you replaying conversations for days, rehearsing what you should have said, and wondering whether you’re the problem.

You’ve tried setting boundaries. You’ve tried accepting them as they are. Neither has brought much peace. One leaves you feeling guilty. The other can feel like abandoning yourself.

What you actually want isn’t to stop caring. It’s to feel calmer around difficult people and not be so deeply affected by them—to speak clearly, stay true to yourself, and move on without carrying the interaction for days.

Blending modern psychology with Stoic wisdom, psychologist András Keleti offers real client stories and a practical way forward for sensitive, conscientious people who feel stuck between empathy and self-protection. You’ll learn to:

– Adopt liberating philosophies that ease the stress and anxiety difficult people create in you

– Do the deeper inner work that softens emotional reactivity and helps you finally put down the resentment and old hurt you’ve carried for years

– Build communication skills that let you speak assertively, handle conflict with confidence, and set boundaries that actually hold

You’ll work with practical tools such as the Stoic control-sorting exercise, the reparenting visualization, the three-part communication script, and conflict-resolution skills adapted to the relationships that matter most—with a parent, partner, sibling, friend, or boss.

This isn’t another book that tells you to cut people off or simply accept them as they are.

It’s a nuanced, practical guide from someone who has navigated his own difficult relationships and spent over a decade helping sensitive people become less deeply affected by others’ words, moods, and reactions—without becoming cold or disconnected.

Your sensitivity was never the problem. It just needed better tools and a little less anxiety standing in the way.

Start reading today—and discover how much lighter life can feel when difficult people no longer take up so much space in your mind.

About the author

András Keleti is a psychologist with over 12 years of experience working with sensitive clients. He began his career in a psychiatric hospital before establishing a private practice in Hungary and the UK, and now works internationally through online therapy.

András integrates cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, metacogni- tive, and hypnotherapeutic approaches to help clients transform their relationship with their sensitive minds while preserving their emotional depth. His own journey with anxiety and overthinking informs his compas- sionate, depth-oriented approach.

Rather than viewing sensitivity as a weakness to overcome, he helps clients turn it into a source of creativity, connection, and authentic self-expression.

When not working with clients or writing, András enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his wife and daughter.
