About this ebook

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us and All Your Perfects, a “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) about a workaholic with a too-good-to-be-true romance can’t stop thinking about her first love—soon to be a major motion picture.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

This book made me realize a lot of things in life, marriage and relationships. I admire the main character of this story, Lily, for being brave and choose for the best life for her daughter. I learned here that, love shouldn't be rushed. Its more great if we would be able to know our lovers well, their personality, how they behave when angry. Love isn't all about the happy moments together or if the person makes you feel butterflies or about a perfect man of your dreams, love is so much more than that. Love has honesty, patience and understanding to each other. Marriage isn't just something that you jump into without thinking or planning, and later on deciding to divorce just because you weren't happy with other. You should be thinking of that consequences before marrying the person. Marriage life is supposed to be happy together, stick together for better and for worse, richer or poorer and in sickness and in health.

I was pretty skeptical about this book at first. I thought it was going to romanticize a situation that looked very dangerous, and I even ranted to my boyfriend about the potential impact a book like this would have on it's readers, but honestly the ending really changed my opinion of the book. I totally agree with Lily's decision and I hope that anyone in a similar situation can learn from Lily's experience. A big thank you to the author for shedding light on a subject that's typically kept in the dark and shunned 👌

I enjoyed the book but it's not my favorite. I definitely have a better understanding about why woman stay in domestic abusive relationships and I appreciate the new outlook it gave me on the subject, but I felt the book was kinda rushed through the middle, things happened fast and a little corny at times. I really loved the love and friendship between Atlas and lily, but that was about it. it doesn't let me give half stars but I give it a 3.5
