Three women. Three very different lives. One life-changing adventure.

Charlie is a single mum unlucky in life. Her multiple jobs make barely enough to feed the family cat, never mind being able to give her son the life he deserves. So when an opportunity to make a lot of cash comes along, she simply has to take it.

Suzie has always wanted to be a mother. But fate has been cruel and now time is running out. Soon her final frozen egg will be destroyed and her last chance of having a baby will go with it. With her husband resolved to their childless life Suzie takes matters into her own hands.

Dawn is about to turn fifty and seems to have misplaced her mojo along with the car keys. But with an interfering mother-in-law and a gaggle of judgemental mums at her children's school, it's proving harder to find than a decent fitting bra. Especially after a series of highly embarrassing incidents...

Over the course of a year three lives are about to collide and as they do be prepared to laugh, cry and fall in love with these women as they discover how life can give you a second chance.

Perfect for fans of Lucy Diamond, Marian Keyes, Sophie Kinsella and Paige Toon.

Tall, dark and handsome, Tom is out to have some fun. Kaisa doesn’t think she’ll ever fall in love again. But when they meet on the snow-capped Swedish Alps, sparks fly.

With his beloved mother passed, Tom is forced to leave his sons in Milan with his ex and is looking forward to an uncomplicated Christmas skiing in the Swedish Alps.

As her daughter Rosa is away backpacking in the Far East, Kaisa decides to take a rare winter break over the holidays with her best friend Tuuli. Now in her late fifties, Kaisa doesn’t think she’ll ever fall in love again. But when she sees Tom after some thirty years, her heart begins to beat a little faster. Kaisa knows, however, an affair with Tom will go nowhere. Years ago, they had a disastrous date, which neither of them wishes to revisit.

Yet, on the slopes and in the apres-ski bars Tom showers Kaisa with his attentions and she finds she cannot resist his intense eyes and passionate kisses.

Can Kaisa trust this European Casanova, and her own sudden infatuation?

I thoroughly enjoyed The Christmas Heart, relishing in the steamy encounters between Kaisa and Tom. Halme really knows how to draw in her readers with her descriptive writing and vivid scenery. I felt like I was transported into the story walking in a white utopia with a charming and dashing older man. Halme's refreshing prose and writing style make for an engaging satisfying read. The dialogue between the characters is impressive and written very well. Humorous at times but also very heartfelt, it is the perfect holiday novel for this season. An absolutely marvellous read that I would highly suggest for anyone looking to warm their heart and soul for the holidays. Chick Lit Cafe

The Christmas Heart is a story that takes you on a scenic journey to Sweden to a white Christmas with friends and with the surprise of love at a time when you least expect it. A time in your life when you are happy within yourself but when someone from your past turns up and reminds you of your carefree youth your heart suddenly starts to feel young again. A sensitively told festive romance that sizzled with chemistry as bright as the Christmas lights. Kraftireader Book Blogger

This book is the ideal Christmas feel good, romantic read. For those moments, just to get away and enjoy the snowy scenes and a future that you just sometimes need to take a chance in. There is lots to admire, giggle and appreciate within this book. Lacy Ace Book Reviews

I loved the plot for this one and it has a really lovely setting. The author sets the scene so well and at times I felt as though I was there living with the characters. The characters themselves are well developed and I really enjoyed their interaction-it is a lovely heart-warming story that left me feeling all warm and cosy - it was the perfect book to wrap myself up in the warm with a hot drink and a sneaky biscuit. With wonderful warmth and humour – and the odd mince pie fight – the women are forced to confront their shared past, the turbulent present and, most importantly, the potential of the future.

Curl up this Christmas with this heartwarming and funny read. You’ll never look at a mince pie in the same way again...
