There's not one character I really liked and the twists I already predicted waaaaaay before the reveal so it wasn't really shocking. Good effort put into it though.

It is not a continuation of the others but their are reappearances of other main characters from past reads. This is about Lizzy and Sam's story and the hurt and miss understandings of not only their past history but what is happening in their present lives will have you breathing heavy and that's not just from the steamy love scene but the thrill and the mystery of who "River" truly is will shock you! You want to know what' real and who's behind it all! With every page it just gets better and better. You have politics, possible affairs, and a lot of steamy love scenes,and oh let's not forget a "who could it be" mystery man! Lexi has an impressive talent of keeping you hook and that doesn't stop at the end of this read!!! I want MORE!!!! I Love this series and can't wait to see what happens in the next read.

After our last wild ride with Hanna Thompson in the world of New Hope in the Here and Now Series, I’ve been waiting anxiously to see what Lexi Ryan had in store for her twin sister, Lizzie. Let me just say: Holy. Wow. This book has the sexy times and the crazy twists and turns we’ve come to expect from Ms. Ryan, and when you hit the last page you’re going to be dying for SOMETHING REAL. Her writing is flawless, her plots unique and engaging, and with every Lexi book I pick up, it just becomes more and more apparent why she’s an automatic one-click for me and why I am constantly telling people to read her books. In my opinion, she's outdone herself with SOMETHING RECKLESS. If you’ve never read a Lexi Ryan book, this is a fantastic place to start, but if you want to get the full, amazing effect of the world of New Hope, do yourself a favor and pick up UNBREAK ME and start at the beginning.
