HOLY WOW. CANNOT WAIT FOR SOMETHING REAL! After our last wild ride with Hanna Thompson in the world of New Hope in the Here and Now Series, I’ve been waiting anxiously to see what Lexi Ryan had in store for her twin sister, Lizzie. Let me just say: Holy. Wow. This book has the sexy times and the crazy twists and turns we’ve come to expect from Ms. Ryan, and when you hit the last page you’re going to be dying for SOMETHING REAL. Her writing is flawless, her plots unique and engaging, and with every Lexi book I pick up, it just becomes more and more apparent why she’s an automatic one-click for me and why I am constantly telling people to read her books. In my opinion, she's outdone herself with SOMETHING RECKLESS. If you’ve never read a Lexi Ryan book, this is a fantastic place to start, but if you want to get the full, amazing effect of the world of New Hope, do yourself a favor and pick up UNBREAK ME and start at the beginning.

Be warned, this is a cliffhanger and the final book will not be available until March, and I will say that will be a LONG wait. Sam and Liz…wickedly sexy, hot and emotional! Lexi has a gift of creating well-developed characters that pull you right in to their stories and Sam and Liz are no exception! Their story is one that has been a long time in the making and the result is one that is steamy, but also points that are pretty powerful. The plot takes some twists and turns, some of which you can see coming, but that really does not take away from the story. It just makes you want more! I am a die-hard Lexi Ryan fan and will always go back for more. Waiting for the conclusion of Sam and Liz’s story will be tough!

What can I say that would even convey my feelings about this book? It was abso-fu**ing-lutely AMAZING, scary delicious and PAINFULLY sad all at the same time. At the end of Something Wild, I was left wondering what happened in those 2 years we missed and the last couple of pages of that book, but now I understand the timeline and how it ties in with Hanna's story. The story of Sam and Liz is so compelling, with all the hurt, misunderstandings and LOVE between the two of them. I had a feeling that River was NOT going to be who she thought it was, but then she meets Sam at the cabin and I changed my mind. Then the next morning came and I knew I was wrong again. I was afraid of who I thought it was, but Liz went another direction. Then, I learned all those things about Sam and I was flabergasted. It just goes to show you how selfish some people can be and how that affects others around them. How one mistake can ripple for many years. I don't want to give any true spoilers, but you really need to read this book. Yes, it ends on a major cliffhanger and the final book doesn't come out until March of 2015, but it is soooooo worth it.
