Returning after personal tragedy, Major Crimes Detective Dallas Nash is handed a cold case to ease him back into the department.

Thirty years prior, a teenaged girl was strangled to death and her killer was never found. Upon examining the file, Nash makes a startling revelation – as a teenager, he saw the girl shortly before her death.

Before he can get traction with the cold case, Nash is dispatched to a wintery crime scene. A snow-covered body was discovered in an open field, a victim of a murder.

As the temperature remains freezing, Dallas Nash struggles with his private loss while searching for two killers – one of which has remained hidden for three decades.
