About this ebook

A Legacy of Magic, a Travel Through Time...

"A brilliant teen is thrust into adulthood after uncovering terrifying secrets buried beneath the Amazon Jungle. As supernatural horrors close in, Ellis Hollander must navigate hidden love, ancient mysteries, and life-or-death twists."

Salvar is an infuriating clairvoyant who ropes Ellis Hollander into heading up a haunted dig site, only for the crew to flee in terror, forcing an abrupt shutdown. With the site in limbo, Ellis travels to the Congo in search of the legendary Tomb of Shalar—only to face sabotage, demotion, and professional jealousy at the hands of the spiteful Avrum Hansen, who relishes demoting Ellis to a mere laborer. Yet the Zimia dig has followed Ellis—haunting his dreams, whispering secrets, and driving his determination to uncover a buried truth hidden for eons.

Two years later, Ellis is still stuck on the dig in the Congo. Without the flexibility of leadership (to travel between digs), he gets a message to his assistant, Larsaw, who manages to round up enough of a crew to reopen the Zimia dig site. There, they uncover a wall etched with strange, ancient inscriptions. The report infuriates Ellis—he should have been leading the effort—but Avrum’s incompetence has kept him sidelined, and the elusive Tomb of Shalar remains undiscovered. Worse, Avrum refuses to release him from the contract. But the man’s failures finally catch up to him. Stripped of his rights to the dig, he’s replaced—and Ellis is reinstated. Within months, under Ellis’s command, the long-lost tomb is finally unearthed, bursting with untold treasures. Now, like time travelers, he shall lead his fellow Fate Walkers into the mystical city of Zimia.
