Beautiful Love Affair - 5 Stars I enjoyed this story by Ms. Pinder. There was a lot of action and adventure, some cloak and dagger activities, with a mystery to solve. This was an original story that flowed along nicely. The characterizations were good and many, each unique from the others and easily identified in the story. The main male character and the main female character certainly had a rough go of it, with their relationship, for a few years. Family played significant roles in this tale and what came through clearly was the strong unconditional love and support that the main male character's family had for one another. As the mystery unraveled, the course of these two seemed to smooth out, so much so that they were able to attain their happily-ever-after. I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel from the author and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.

This was an awesome read! Victoria Pinder has written a book that had me turning pages late at night. This is the story of Sean Collins, a widowed single father who stumbles across Gigi Dumont when he purchases a school. He hasn't seen Gigi since she broke up with him 10 years ago at his seventeenth birthday party. She is a French teacher at the newly acquired school and needs a male chaperone for a trip to Paris with her elite French students. Sean volunteers and takes this opportunity to spend time with Gigi to find answers to 10 years worth of questions. Against the backdrop of Paris (and 10 high school students), these 2 people become reacquainted and learn that sometimes first loves are worth fighting for. Excellent storytelling!
