This was fast paced and full of surprises! It starts out one way, with a closeness and understanding between the characters. Then it all pushes and pulls apart as Mercedes and Judge always seem to be at a different place at a different time. It is evident that they care but they really don’t do well at expressing that caring. Of course, just when it seems things might actually be okay, it all falls spectacularly apart again. There is a lot on the line and that ending has me wanting more!

This series is succulent, seductive and just plain sinfully good!! This is the second piece of Judge and Mercedes' dark and twisty tale that has me hooked, craving and desperate for more! Sultry heat, taut drama and intense emotions create a lush and intoxicating combo that lures you in and captivates. I am consumed!! This is my freely posted frank review.

Her Rebellion picks up right where His Rule left off. For the first installment I described the story as dark, angsty and addictive and that definitely holds true here. I'm incredibly impressed that the authors were able to take a character I never thought I could empathize with and maker her the heroine of this story, and have done an amazing job of creating a character that I want to read about and follow along with for not just one book, but three. This one, as with the last, ends on a cliffhanger where you are left desperately waiting for the next in the series. I'm loving this trilogy and can't wait to get my hands on the last book to see how Mercedes and Judge's story is resolved.
