About this ebook

'Packed with passion ... a love story full of charm, music and soul-mates ... a classic E L James combo of the sweet and erotic with the perfect ending for romantics. I think it's her best by far!' - Milly Johnson, The Sun
____________

The thrilling new romance from E L James, author of the phenomenal #1 bestselling Fifty Shades trilogy

London, 2019. Life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan. With his good looks, aristocratic connections, and money, he's never had to work and he's rarely slept alone. But all that changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits his family's noble title, wealth, and estates, and all the responsibility that entails. It's a role he's not prepared for and one that he struggles to face.

But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who's recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past. Reticent, beautiful, and musically gifted, she's an alluring mystery, and Maxim's longing for her deepens into a passion that he's never experienced and dares not name. Just who is Alessia Demachi? Can Maxim protect her from the malevolence that threatens her? And what will she do when she learns that he's been hiding secrets of his own?

From the heart of London through wild, rural Cornwall to the bleak, forbidding beauty of the Balkans, The Mister is a roller-coaster ride of danger and desire that leaves the reader breathless to the very last page.

Expected a good story from meeting to falling in love, I expected the same passion for love that 50 shades had, I don't mean the bdsm or sex scene's I mean a proper story, he takes over the family business of what I'm still not 100% on, he's a composer/dj/photographer/model, the most confusing set up is they tell the story as told by him and her on the same page without warning and she's a prodigy pianist who's been sex trafficked!? this book makes no sense,if I could get my money back I would.

I had slightly higher expectations than were delivered. I had hoped Ms James had learned from former criticisms, of which there have been many. But no, the writing is still of a adolescent standard, thin plotlines that don't make much sense. It had striking similarity too; a young, innocent, hapless virgin, forever rebalancing her equilibrium and biting her lip (upper though, to be 'different') cums about 3 million times a day once her cherry's popped, and he, all dark and brooding, wealthy piano owner, mummy issues, has a temper, and then there's the surname, Trevelyan. And he even has a secret room. It's 50 shades without a whip. How long do you plan on dining out on plagiarism, Ms James?

Way better than the 50 Shades trilogy. Such a thrilling love story with enough action to keep you on your toes. Finished the book in a day. I couldn't stop reading! But the book seemed to end abruptly like there should have been another chapter after the last one. I feel like I was left hanging....
