One crew. One secret. One shot at survival.
Commander Jephora Cochrane and the crew of the Jakob Waltz stumble upon a secret lost to time — a half-billion-year-old relic that could change humanity’s path through history.
Cut off from civilization and surrounded by uncertainty, Cochrane must lead his crew through chaos, betrayal, and shifting loyalties toward a discovery powerful enough to rewrite the past and change the future.
But with danger closing in and no one left to trust, survival is far from guaranteed. If Cochrane can’t navigate the maze of hidden agendas and keep his crew alive, humanity may never learn the truth.

Eric is known as a writer of harder-edge Science Fiction novels with believable characters, action-packed plots, and a solid science foundation that provides the backdrop for the story. He lives in the beautiful high country of New Mexico's Manzano Mountains (where the winter weather has occasionally been said to resemble the outback of Mars). Before becoming a writer, he was Director of Research for a private consulting laboratory in Phoenix where, among other things, he experimented with inertial propulsion and power generation technologies.
When not writing, Eric plays guitar and bass and occasionally dabbles in art of various forms.
He also owns way too many dogs… and, as a result, is often seen fighting heroically against mountains of dog-hair.
