The Perfection in Love depicts the love story of the fairly newly married couple Oyin and Henry. The novel does not only stay there but moves on to deal with how challenging marriage and love can be. The novel flows and yearns to be read. In fact it only took me a matter of a day or two to finish because it was so engrossing. I turned page after page with suspense to find out about Oyin and Henry's problems and if or how they would solve them. All in all, a very successful debut novel that fills you up with hope. The story reiterates the idea that love conquers all, but we must ultimately fight for it. It was a joy to read Oyin and Henry’s story, I can only hope there will be more to their story and personal development (Olive included!) through a sequel! I received this novel in exchange for an honest review.
