About the author

Enamul Haque is a seasoned IT professional with over twenty-six years of diverse experience leading and managing digital transformation and optimisation strategies with sustained operational performance. He has a distinguished track record of leading CIOs, operations and transformation programs through advanced digital technologies.

Enamul has a unique style of combining business acumen to evaluate new technologies and develop partnerships at all levels. He can create strategies to generate added value business and the stakeholders.

One of the highlights of his career includes his excellent work experience with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) along with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, Switzerland, following his studies at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne for a Special Mathematics Diploma (CMS) and later for his licence en sciences de l'informatique, at the University of Geneva.

After eleven years in Switzerland, Enamul moved to Helsinki, Finland, to work in Nokia Headquarters, where he spent over eight years with the immense growth of his career. In 2008, he availed himself an opportunity to move to the UK, as he continued working for Nokia and later Microsoft upon their acquisition of the Nokia devices group. After leaving Microsoft, Enamul joined HCL Technologies as an Enterprise Solution Architect. He currently works for Capgemini as a Management Consultant for their Cloud Infrastructure Services.

He also is a collaborative consultant concentrating on creating robust strategies to translate vision into achievements in complex cross-functional matrix organisations. He specialised in helping organisations to stay focused and modern in today's digital world by recommending and delivering business and service improvements to assess application and infrastructure landscapes. He assists in re-skill technical workforces creating cost reduction opportunities to ensure business continuity and compliance. He has implemented business transformations across various sectors, including the aviation industry, beauty industry, chemical industry, energy sector, mobile communications, logistics and manufacturing. As a change agent, he works as an effective communicator who is highly adaptable and committed to continuous development.

He is grateful to have considerable industry experience in Cloud Target Operating Model (TOM) Design, Cloud Service Management, Solution Design, Program Management, Contact Centre Operations, Technical Support Operations, Cloud Architecture, Big Data Analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He has been honoured with ITIL certification in Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations and Continual Service Improvement. He also has professional qualifications in Knowledge Management from Edelweiss Connect, Switzerland.

The author also has extensive knowledge of Digital and Cloud Transformation Strategies and Operating Model Development, including Management and Governance Frameworks. Blessed by qualifications in IT4IT, COBIT, ITIL4, KCS, DevOps, ServiceNow, Remedy and many other IT Service Management (ITSM) Systems, Enamul has been inspired to create his first book on digital transformation through cloud computing.
