About this ebook

The New York Times and USA Today bestselling series

Betrayal and sacrifice in the skies ...

Ten years ago, Hell Diver Xavier “X” Rodriguez fell to Earth. Those he left behind went on without him aboard the airship he once called home. Michael Everhart—the boy once known as Tin—has grown into a man and the commander of Hell Diver Raptor Team. While Michael dives to help keep the Hive in the air, Captain Leon Jordan rules with an iron fist at the helm of the ship. But unrest stirs under his strict leadership as a prophecy of hope sweeps the lower decks.

When a mysterious distress signal calls the Hell Divers to the surface, Michael and his loyal team begin to uncover long-buried truths and the secrets Captain Jordan will do anything to keep. They dive so humanity survives ... but will they survive the ultimate betrayal?

Nicholas Sansbury Smith delivers another heart-pounding thriller in Hell Divers II: Ghosts, the second book in the acclaimed science fiction series.

I loved Hell Divers II and now I can’t wait for Book 3! The Hell Divers series is one of my favorite sci fi series I’ve come across in a long time. This is a very original take on survival/post-apocalyptic fiction. In this book I especially liked the way the characters were developed and the action/adventure of the Hell Divers exploring the destroyed post-apocalyptic cities with seriously terrifying mutant creatures inhabiting the ruins. This book kept me on my toes and I grew to really love the characters, especially Michael aka Tin. I received a digital ARC courtesy of Netgalley.

Okay, don't expect to just 'read a few pages' and do something else. Grab a drink, sit in your favourite chair and start reading - you won't get up until you get to the end. From start to finish, this book picks up where the first book left you. the way Nick describes the bleakness, and the hope and fear and terror and excitement and all those fun things. I highly recommend this series, and anything else Nick writes.

A really good and accessible sci-fi novel. I love the creativity in the world-building both on the ship and on the ground. The monsters are scary and original, and the suspense got my heart pounding more than once. I noticed some negative reviews posted earlier that seem to have no basis, since the final book isn’t available for purchase yet – pay no attention, this is another homerun from Nicholas Sansbury Smith.
