I love the premise of a swoon-worthy blue collar hero falling for a runaway heiress with emotional backstories, as well as an undeniable connection and chemistry so quickly after being thrown together by a storm and a missed job interview. I adore the found family vibe of the friend group at the core of this renovation. I enjoyed the plot twists, the banter, the great world building, and the romance, and I’m excited to see the next man fall! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️.5

Set in Lakeview Harbor, at Lakeview Harbor Resort this is Axel Hayes and Maisie Quinn’s story and was well written and entertaining. Narrated by Rebecca Gibel who is new to me. Her voice was pleasant and easy to listen to. She brought the characters and story to life for me. The banter was witty and I found myself smiling a number of times. When they are forced together to avoid the storm the attraction intensifies.
