About this ebook

Space. The Final Frontier. But it has never been this sexy or fun.

Being the captain of the Liberator for many years, Liam Synar is familiar with fixing mistakes. But he's not sure how to fix the worst one he’s made concerning his official mate. Merging Ania with Malachi, the Synar family’s daemon, had been a desperate act to save her life after she'd all but died saving his. Since Ania being dead is not an option in Liam's reality, how could saving her be wrong?

Now not telling her what he did? Okay, that definitely isn’t the smartest decision he’s made. Leaving her and the Daemon of Synar behind on her planet had been for the good of all. Or so he's been telling himself over and over for the last two years they've been separated.

Things have changed though. His time of keeping Ania unaware of her symbiotic host has run out. Coveting Malachi's enormous power, Conor Synar, Liam's exiled brother, now hunts his ship. His brother wants to control the powerful and destructive alien force and won't stop until he's become Malachi's master.

Liam understands now that the only way he can truly protect Ania from Conor's evil is to keep her by his side. That leaves Liam no choice except to tell his mate what he's done, even if it means facing the wrath of the only female he’s ever loved.

Everything Liam did was to save her. How impossible is it to hope Ania might one day forgive him?

NOTE FROM AUTHOR about Books 1 & 2:

Just like in space opera TV shows, the characters in my Forced To Serve series reappear from book to book because they are crew members of the same spaceship. However, there is a full romance with a new couple in each book as well. The one exception to this is that Book 1 (64,000 words) and Book 2 (110,000 words) which together are the full story of Liam and Ania's relationship. Reading both books is recommended to get a full feel for this series.

I enjoyed this story, and found it tight and compelling until near the end. Hope and lightness were new factors then, so the mood also lifted.

SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH THIS COME TO LIFE I WAS GIVEN THIS BOOK FOR AND HONEST REVIEW.... 17+ READING To start with I loved Donna's ideal of giving you a list of characters -names ,how to pronounce them, species, age, powers, and what their job is. It so helped get you right into the story and understanding everything, I think I wish that happened more often.I was entrapped by the story right away . Loved the way the centuries old characters use there enlightened ways for humor against the younger ones, even if they outranked them. There is a joyful occasion, ends in tragic actions causing decisions to be made that if everyone had spoken the truth to each other might have changed what was done. But then we wouldn't have had this wonderful story to read ! It was extremely funny to watch it unfold when hidden truths had to be told. Also Ania who is so mad that Liam had not told her things involving her, but he slowly starts to find out she wasn't totally upfront with everything either for she had her own secrets but being 918 years old it could take awhile to tell everything to a 268 year old male. But she is also mad at Dorian (623 years old) a friend, ex student, but also best friend of Liam and Liam was his Captain- so he was in a hard stop he knew things about each but refused to tell on either, offered advice, help, friendship but would not mediate their mating relationship. Of course he is just as bad about ignoring his own chances of a mating, he has only been grieving his lost mate for 100 years. Then you have the half human Gwin (35) First Mate, a warrior of strong skill but will meet her match in a smaller ,more skilled woman. You have all these different races, different powers and strengths,on board a spaceship. So their is lots of fun, some sorrow, love in all the right places- even if the parties involved are not admitting it- in this part of the story and I can't wait to continue it to see more of the fun of them fighting nature.

Couldn't decide wether this story will go into intrigue or clichés. Good capture of emotions, and penmanship.

About the author

After 35 years of doing everything else for a living, Donna McDonald published her first novel in March of 2011. Thirty plus novels later, she is living her own happily ever after in life as a full time author.

She does her best to give back to the universe by hanging out to write at local coffee shops and keeping them in business. When not at one of those, she is hard at work in her office at a monstrous black desk her husband lovingly refers to as her “table”.

McDonald's work spans several genres, such as contemporary romance, fantasy, paranormal, and science fiction. Romance and romantic elements abound in her work, but she claims humor as the most common element across all her writing. Addicted to making readers laugh, McDonald includes a good dose of comedy in every book.
