Blood and Scales is a standalone paranormal fantasy romance. This is my first time reading Therena Carlin’s work. I absolutely loved it. The story is wonderfully written with rich detail and pulls you into this world. From the first chapter, I was so engrossed. I read it in one sitting. It has everything: emotion, action, suspense, fated mates romance, a vampire villain, a bloodwitch, and a cinnamon roll dragon shifter. I look forward to reading more from this world and author. I highly recommend this book.

Therena Carlin (she/her) is an author & artist/illustrator of epic fantasy & romance with a passion for dragons and magic. When not writing or drawing, she can be found reading romantic fantasy novels, playing D&D with friends, or running a campaign for her family - the very campaign which inspired the backstory for her first novel, "Star Found". She loves writing characters who start out as the underdog, outcasts and misfits who are at odds with themselves and their place in the world.
