About this ebook

Born in a prison and removed from his drug-dependent mother, rejection is all that 7-year-old Alex knows.

When Cathy is asked to foster little Alex, aged 7, her immediate reaction is: Why can’t he stay with his present carers for the last month? He’s already had many moves since coming into care as a toddler and he’ll only be with her a short while before he goes to live with his permanent adoptive family. But the present carers are expecting a baby and the foster mother isn’t coping, so Alex goes to live with Cathy.

He settles easily and is very much looking forward to having a forever family of his own. The introductions and move to his adoptive family go well. But Alex is only with them for a week when problems begin. What happens next is both shocking and upsetting, and calls into question the whole adoption process.

WOW!... This book is very heart wrenching at times... That poor little boy but everything happens for. reason and he was so lucky to have such a lovely family in the end 💙 I hope he got over all his demons and is now living a happy and healthy life... Cathy Glass is an amazing woman and a great author too... This book is the 1st one I've really noticed though with so many digs at her ex husband John... Every other chapter was a dig at him and while I know it can't be nice for your husband to leave you for another woman it happens everyday unfortunately and vice versa not always the man that leaves... Some of the comments sound so bitter that maybe not worth saying at all... Best to just not put anything and let him go and show you are having just a good a life without him.... All in all good story though... Get the tissues at the ready... 5 stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤗👍

Nobody's Son is a great book for people who like true story books. Cathy Glass is an amazing author who writes about some of the children she has fostered. Alex has his dreams smashed, and became something he wasn't, a withdrawn Child to everything! Cathy was able to help him get thru that. Even though this book has a lot of sad parts to it, it has a great ending and I'm so happy for Alex as he has finally found the family that was actually perfect for him and the one that never gave up on him.
