I loved that Aisling and Graham had a history before coming to Midnight Lake. You could tell that they were drawn to eachother and it was so fun to watch their feelings grow! I really enjoyed the dialogue and their back and forth during this book Lots of action throughout this story, keeping you on your toes!. Aisling and Graham had a one-night stand. He still feels guilty about moving on from his deceased fiancé and pushes Aisling away even though they are sizzling with passion for their jobs and each other until they combust. It felt like they spent way too much sexy time in uncomfortable places and several times after she’s been attacked and is bruised all over. A new set of bad guys interfering with their business and threatening them added to the suspense.

Built of Strength by Jemi Fraser is a good, and enjoyable second chance small town romantic suspense read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is one that is sweet, and touching romance read that is full of emotion, friendships, and danger. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
