About this ebook

In their first encounter, demigod Percy Jackson and magician Carter Kane had to battle a giant crocodile on Long Island. A month later, Annabeth Chase ran into Carter's sister, Sadie, on the A train to Rockaway, where the pair fought a god named Serapis. Now trouble is brewing again, this time on Governor's Island. An ancient Egyptian magician named Setne has come back from the dead and is experimenting with Egyptian and Greek magic, trying to become a god himself. He's so powerful and tricky that all four—Percy, Annabeth, Carter, and Sadie—have to team up against him. But their usual weapons and spells aren't going to cut it this time. Will the heroes be taken down by a wannabe god who looks like Elvis, or will they rise to the challenge? Told from Percy's point of view, this third demigod-magician crossover story has all of the spunk and action that Rick Riordan fans crave.

I didn't think this short story series could get any better until this came out. At first it was just Carter and Percy against an enemy, then Sadie and Annabeth finally met. But Rick topped it off by getting them all together for one final rodeo. I hope in the future he thinks of a way to throw Magnus Chase, the Romans, and maybe some kids from different Myths.

I am a big Rick Riordan fan and was SO excited when he brought Percy, Annabeth, and the Kane's together. For a short story, it was very action packed and thrilling. It was also quite fun to have Percy as the narrator, so there was a sassy perspective on things. I hope to see Percy, Annabeth, and the Kane's come together for another epic battle against the evils of ancient Egypt and Greece (Hopefully not just a short story!).

I'm 20 years old and I've been reading every book since he started releasing "Godly parodies". I don't think my childhood will officially end until Uncle Rick stops releasing Grecian God books. They really defined my childhood. That being said, can't wait for Book 1 of the Trials of Appollo to come out and I'm hoping for a Percy and Annabeth cameo in The Gods of Asgard.
