About this ebook

From USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Sucevic comes steamy new adult sports romance in the Western Wildcats Hockey Series.

Colby McNichols, otherwise known as the baby-faced assassin, is the left wing for the Western Wildcats hockey team. All he has to do is sign his name on the dotted line and he’ll play for the pros after his senior season. What I’ve heard from the girls on campus, who aren’t shy about spilling the tea, is that he’s totally earned his reputation.

And then some.

It’s just one of the reasons I choose to steer clear.

Trust me when I say that my life is complicated enough without getting tangled up with a player.

For reasons I can’t fathom, Colby has decided to insert himself in my life. Everywhere I go, there he is. Which makes holding him at a distance nearly impossible. He might be smoking hot but there’s zero point in starting something with this guy. Especially since I can’t be honest about who I am.

Unfortunately, a weekend spent in Vegas changes everything.

Turns out that our friends weren’t the only ones who tied the knot in Sin City.

I can only hope that what they say is true—what happens in Vegas stays there.

Because if it doesn’t…

I’m screwed.

And not in a good way.

From that point on he is determined to win over the girl. Britt needs a break from the complication of her life so she enrolls in college and does something for herself, for the first time in awhile and the last thing she wants to do is be sidetracked by a guy. She does not open up very easily but there are reasons for that. Things escalate pretty quickly between them after a trip to Vegas 😏 Colby is soooooo sweet, fun and obsessed to put it lightly. The banter between them was really good and once the tension between them was gone, I loved watching them fall in love 🥰 There's drama, secrets and so much more. Colby is the baby faced Assassin of the Western Wildcats, a formidable opponent in the IceHockey arena. He always gets his pick of the girls , well usually …until he meets his match who has the vocabulary in her arsenal to say the word NO. Britt has her own agenda . Getting distracted by a guy ain’t happening. She’s enrolled herself in college and is concentrating on that , getting away from a complicated existence . Secret identity aside. I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. If you like a hot hockey player finding love with a girl in a Vegas wedding then this was a pretty good story. These two share a fear of the limelight and people using them but also very much opposites attracting. I loved their friends and I love that we get some Gray time.
