I have not read any of the books in the intertwining series but had no real issues figuring out who was who and what their role was. The author does a great job of bringing the reader into the story. Lots of action. Great characters. All enterlaced in an engaging plot line. Zev has lived a tough life, no fault of his, which has given him a name among the packs. If you are not comfortable with same gender relationships give the book a pass. If you are open to love regardless of gender then pickup this book. I can't call it a sweet love story but it is a clean one by my standards. Not gonna lie wish Zeveride honestly like the opposite gender but then he wouldn't be this loving character. Zev and Toren’s story Oh I wasn’t sure how I was going to react to this book because it intertwines with all the Dracones previous books and I wasn’t sure if Sheri could pull it off. Well I shouldn’t have doubted her. What a read! I couldn’t put it down until the end. It matches with the history of the Dracone series and it also fills in some information gaps that weren’t provided in the other books. This is well worth the read, I must admit I cried in some of the story so be warned.
