Readers rave about the plot twists, the engaging characters, and the compelling storyline that keeps them turning the pages of this series to find out whodunit!

It all comes down to one last case… and the clock is ticking.

Rumor has it Newman County Sheriff Fen Maguire no longer has what it takes to solve a crime. Still grieving the death of his wife, with ten days left before his illustrious career as sheriff comes to an end, Fen is in no frame of mind to work a murder case.

But when a hunter is found shot through the back, twenty feet up in his deer stand, ignoring it isn't an option.

As evidence points to Fen's own ranch manager, the county that once respected him now questions every move he makes. With his legacy hanging by a thread, Fen must trust his instincts one last time—or watch an innocent man pay for his failure to catch the real killer.

The Fen Maguire Mysteries are perfect for the reader who loves a twisting, turning whodunit without all the fluff and the starry-eyed romance. With no graphic violence, sex or foul language, you can feel great about recommending these clean reads to anyone, from a teen to your grandma!
