Another Dragon Fantasy for everyone who fell in love with the Dragon Lore Series and my other dragon-saturated books.

After her Celtic kin proved too big a bunch of bastards to bother with, Rowan sought solace among witches.

The first book in a magic-laced, fast-paced fantasy trilogy. With dragons.

After the Breaking, not much was left. I assumed it was a case of magic gone bad—until I discovered my goddess mother had broken the world. She didn’t like it that I’d turned my back on the pantheon. My long tenure among witches rubbed salt into the wound.

After a confrontation where Mommy Dearest fessed up—and lacked the decency to bat an eyelash about the widespread destruction she’d caused—I was digesting what to do next when a dragon showed up.

Yes. A dragon.

The beast didn’t talk with me or anything, but it flew overhead wreaking havoc on a goblin horde. Witches are old souls with kind hearts, but they’re not particularly strong magically, so I was grateful for the help.

And suspicious as hell. Why a dragon? Why here and why now? More importantly, why was he—she?—helping me? Part of me didn’t want to know, and another part was certain I’d find out anyway.

3 Paranormal Cozy MysteriesThe Silent Banshee
The Murdered Mermaid
The End Of The Yeti

The Silent Banshee
Cassia Winter is a witch. With the help of her cat, Stanley, she investigates crimes in the magical town of Brimstone. This story sees them dealing with the death of a banshee called Dana Murphy.
On the morning of her death, Dana Murphy’s dying scream produces a huge amount of energy that rushes through the town of Brimstone. The energy makes its way to Cassia’s world and sends her flying off her feet. Upon entering Brimstone, Cassia is told that as the town banshee, Dana predicted many deaths - but apparently not her own.
Cassia and Stanley investigate Dana’s death and are confronted with the grim reality of how she died. They discover that more than one resident in Brimstone had a reason to put an end to Dana’s special talent.
As well as dealing with the murder investigation, Cassia is confronted with help from an unlikely source. Stanley immediately feels uneasy, and that unease grows as they delve further into Dana’s murder.

The Murdered Mermaid
To Cassia’s surprise, she discovers Brimstone town has a beach. With the help of another witch, she is taken to the beach to meet the supernatural creatures there. It’s not long before Cassia picks up on an uneasy atmosphere and feels something tragic will happen soon.
The tragedy manifests as the murder of a mermaid called Nerita. Not only does Cassia have to investigate this murder, she is confronted with other problems including some haunting moments from her past.

The End Of The Yeti
Cassia and Stanley are ordered to visit Brimstone Mountains to check on the residents and to make sure they are all getting along. It’s here that they meet a friendly yeti called Leonard who lives in a cave at the bottom of the mountains. He’s a gentle soul and Cassia and Stanley immediately warm to him.
The Brimstone Mountain Festival is taking place and Cassia is asked to judge the competitions. There’s a joyful atmosphere and it’s obvious the residents are a happy bunch who get along well. All thoughts of her recent murder investigations are pushed to the back of Cassia’s mind as she enjoys the festivities.
Until something dreadful happens.
When the Festival is over, Cassia and Stanley return to Leonard’s cave to bring him gifts from the festival. They are shocked to find his dead body lying on his stone bed. Leonard was a kind soul who never upset anyone, so who would commit such a terrible crime? Cassia and Stanley are determined to find the culprit.

As the investigation progresses, Cassia suffers a personal blow. Not only does she have to find the killer, she has to deal with her own crippling feelings of loss.

The Witch Is Dead
Who murdered witch, Henrietta Whitmore? And why?
Justice witch, Cassia Winter, is asked to investigate the murder of a witch in the town of Dingy Skipper. With her cat and familiar, Stanley, at her side, they head over to the dismal town where evil hides around every corner.
They are soon confronted with many suspects including a fairy who can’t help stealing things, a gnome who is unable to stop gossiping and an elf who lurks on street corners and watches everything that Cassia and Stanley do.
Before they can make a full investigation into the death of the witch, Cassia and Stanley are confronted by a clan of nasty vampires who make it clear the sleuthing duo are not welcome in Dingy Skipper. Despite being kidnapped, imprisoned and threatened, Cassia and Stanley persist with their latest case and refuse to stop until they unmask the killer.

A Deal With The Grim Reaper
The door which leads to the magical town of Brimstone has gone. Despite its absence, Cassia and her gran find a way into the town using another way.
They are met in Brimstone by the Grim Reaper who tells them of a curse which was cast hundreds of years ago by their ancestor, Gertrude Winter. He explains that if a murder dating back twenty-three years isn’t solved immediately, Cassia and her gran will no longer be witches. Not only that, the residents of Brimstone will forget they ever existed.
Gran makes a deal with the Grim Reaper and he gives them more time to solve the mystery. All Cassia has to do now is to work out who was murdered, where the deceased body is now, and who did it – all within twenty-four hours. Luckily, she has her cat, Stanley, at her side to help her with this seemingly impossible task.
As they get deeper into their investigation, Cassia and Stanley learn about another deal which the Grim Reaper made which changes everything.
