Yves Patrick Beaulieu is a French Canadian living in northwestern Quebec, or more exactly in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, a region located in the heart of the Canadian boreal forest. In 1991, he published his first novel: “Au passage de la neuvième lune” (With the passing of the ninth moon) and received regional recognition. Ten years later, the author introduced his second novel, “L'ermitage" (The Hermitage), which also received tributes from his adopted region. Five short stories followed as did a collection of poetry. He continues to write.
