When EMT Maya gets stranded on an access road during a hurricane she heads to the shipping yard for help and a phone but what she gets is danger from the cartel who is trying to destroy the owner, billionaire Logan Cross. What happens next is suspense, taking control, finding what’s needs for her brother, witness protection and edge of your seat reading… I voluntarily read a copy of this book.

Maya was so stupid in her actions. It was really frustrating realizing that she is a grown woman making so many irresponsible and dumb actions, especially when she put her sick brother at risk of dying by pulling him off of the machines because she was upset.

Lost interest by the end of the first chapter. so many inconsistencies. How did he know her name? How did he know which hospital to c all? How did her broken and lost phone suddenly reappear?.
