As far as I’m concerned, Crosby can eat shit and die. The guy is a major jerk. Not to mention, a pain in my assets. And that’s putting it nicely. For reasons I’ve never understood, he goes out of his way to humiliate and hurt me. His barbed comments are always a direct hit before exploding on impact.

I’d love to know what I did to elicit such hatred but that would involve conversing with him and I refuse to do that. There’s only one more semester before graduation. Surely, we can get through the next six months without coming to blows.

That’s the hope, anyway.

Which is exactly why I’m thrown off guard when my nemesis pulls me aside and suggests a truce. Do I necessarily trust him after everything he’s put me through?

Nope. For the time being, I’ll agree so there can once again be peace in the kingdom all the while keeping him at a firm distance. Except that turns out to be impossible. Everywhere I go, there he is. It’s like I can’t get away from him. More shocking than that, he’s actually being nice.

If stomping out the underlying attraction that constantly flares to life between us was difficult before, it’s all but impossible now. But that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I’ve been burned by one athlete, I refuse to allow it to happen again.

Campus God is such a fun read and another wonderful addition to the Campus series. Brooke and Crosby start of as enemies but over time they become friends then lovers. Crosby may have started off his relationship with Brooke poorly by being mean and saying hurtful things but he redeems himself by showing Brooke his true self, he is sweet, sensitive, kind, smart and athletic. Although Crosby begins getting to know Brooke more by being deceitful it has let him see that his feelings for Brooke may be worth settling down but this also requires him to possibly hurt his best friend. There is so much that occurs in Campus God, the storyline is fantastic and really kept me captivated from beginning to end. This is one of those books you just can't stop reading! It has lots of angst, drama, college parties, football, late night texting, steamy goodness, friends, fun and so much more! The whole Campus series is truly a treat to read and Campus God is another wonderful addition.

I want Crosby and his lips ring and I think this series is getting better and better! The story is very entertaining with Crosby trying to catch Brooke's attention but Brooke has nothing to do with him. Their chemistry is off-the-charts even when they try so hard to hate each other so you can reassure that it is steamy AF when Crosby has a chance with her. And those sextings are SOOOOO HOT. Their love is forbidden enemies to lovers. Crosby has been in love with her ever since she is forbidden to him so he chose to bully her every chances he got instead of risking his heart. Their relationship begins with secrets and lies. I'm not impressed with the way he lies to Brooke but I think I understand his feeling. But when his lies get exposed, I also understand Brooke's feeling. It's complicated and messy but at the end, love wins. I enjoy and love every minutes I spend reading Crosby and Brooke's love story. Can't wait for Asher's story next because I sense he is going to meet his match.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is Brooke and Crosby's story and it was really awesome and a huge surprise. It has a forbidden romance, secret identity, text messaging and also has a bit of redemption for Crosby. This is part of the series and while it can be read as a stand alone easily. I do suggest you read this series because its awesome and we get to see some of the previous guys from other books in a few scenes. Brooke dated Andrew who was best friends and roommates with Crosby. Because Crosby is a good guy and was attracted to Brooke he made her hate him. Now Andrew and Brooke are broken up because he cheated on her and Crosby is still mean because he still feels its a forbidden crush. Andrew has not given up and so shenanigans, text messaging, a secret identity is born and Crosby falls even more for her. This was a really fun book I loved all the secrets that Crosby has and you just know its going to hit Brooke hard. But I really adored Crosby in this story. He had some really tough decisions and I appreciated that he had a huge conflict between his head and his heart. Brooke hates Crosby until he shows her that he is not the guy he was when she dated Andrew. I liked that she was suspicious but I also liked that she gave him a shot. I also felt her conflict between her feelings about Crosby. She was true to herself and I really loved that about her. This was a light, fun story with secrets, romance and so much heart that I fell for Crosby just like Brooke did.
