About this ebook

Lights, camera ... murder?

Retired sleuth Martha is finally bringing her biggest mystery to life—on screen! With six self-written episodes, a crowdfunded crew, and her fluffy canine sidekick Teddy, she's ready to become the star of her own detective drama.

But when a crew member turns up dead, Martha’s dream project becomes a real-life whodunnit …

Together with her twenty-something roommate Pru—an assistant librarian juggling producer duties as well as her romance with Jesse, the local police detective, Martha dives headfirst into the investigation. Between filming scenes, wrangling eager extras, and dodging behind-the-scenes drama, the amateur detectives soon discover that ambition, jealousy, and secrets are lurking behind every take.

Can they solve the case before the credits roll?

Or will their mystery series end in a killer twist?

Perfect for fans of Cindy Bell, Kathi Daley, and Kathy Manos Penn, this is a fun, clean, dog cozy mystery with female amateur sleuths, hot chocolate drinking – and Teddy, the adorable Coton de Tulear puppy!
