Honestly, I love all of Laura's books, but I'm partial to her OA series (maybe because it's the first one I started, IDK). The characters are fresh and their problems relatable (at least applicable when generalized). There are clearly Intimate relationships yet the graphic depictions aren't necessary to convey the message (which is appreciated - sometimes its nice to read a refreshingly clean romance). And let's talk about the creativity and imagination of the whole university subculture, ranging from the classes to the shops to the various clubs they attend. Readers step into a completely different world when entering Laura's world of Obscure Academy, and she is amazing at guiding us through their shenanigans (even provides a map in most books). I am a huge fan and am greatful for the gift copy of this book. I volunteered my review. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did. Cedric, Posey, abd especially Onion, are a real chuckle. I know many are not really into the slow burn romances but somehow while this is slow it doesn't feel it at all. You get the sense that it is all happening at just the right pace for these two to allow them to appreciate each other and have a real chance of learning their differences. Posey is a rose fairy and Cedric is a dryad. They each have very individual magic and views of how it can be used while having a common ground in the earth and growing things. You truly get to see how easliy the words of someone else can affect how you see things. Thankfully, while Cedric takes some time to recognise it, he does come to see it in the end. These two were a really well balanced match in the end.

This book was another great addition to this series & focuses on Posey (Rose Fairy), her corgi familiar Onion, & Cedric (Dryad). The relationship between Posey & Cedric is slow but natural & I enjoyed getting to know both of them & seeing their story come together. I am also looking forward to the next book about Sera & seeing her finally get together with Hugo since they have been mentioned previously as well.
