It is a book of a soul and a spirit that moved against his times of colour prejudice, racial segregation and also a life touching description of a one man struggle for the survival in his own nation. After all we can see Booker.T.Washington is one of the pioneers of present world revolutions and also for the American presidential revolution called Michael Obama.Booker .T. Washington just like any other greats like Martin Luther King,Gandhiji,Abraham Lincoln will influence the coming generations of this world. DOWN RACIAL SEGREGATION AND PREJUDICE AND CASTE,UP HUMANITY,it must be our slogan.

Booker T. Washington leaves no doubt about the responsibility of individuals: on whatever side of the economic spectrum that we find ourselves, it is up to us to develop our talents and capacity to serve those around us. Race matters not. Black or white, the unbiased hand of opportunity recognizes merit and hard work. This book is a must read for those who wish to find a template for ameliorating racial relations in a loving manner.
