Hate cliffhangers. Hate not knowing what happens to characters I've come to care about. That is not good fiction. Well done characters. Interesting setting. Narrator not my favorite character. Won't read another of her books. If she had finished it I would read on. Despite overdoing drama at end.

l was not liking the beginning of the book, but l got used to the writers style and enjoyed the story. the ending had me in tears. a very good read.

Loved this book! Once I started I could not put it down and when I got close to the end I checked to make sure there was a 2nd & 3rd book so I could keep reading about Josiah. Even when you think it is all wrapped up it is not over yet ... just wait and see.
