First of all, this is a Junior devotional (ages 9-12), and It's been a long time since I've been a Junior! Having said that, this is one of my very favorite devotional books. It takes you through the Bible in a year, and Mr. Hare's great stories well illustrate the text highlighted from the days' devotional Bible reading (the book expects that the reader will ALSO be reading through the corresponding Bible passage. The stories are true, many coming from the author's missionary service in Burma and beyond. I was very glad to find this in ebook format.
